Pressure Redistribution System
We all need a good night's sleep in order to feel good. That's why all Belletto and Völker beds offer a patented MiS® micro-stimulation surface which is incorporated into all of the bed's lying surfaces. This technology transmits motion which facilitates comfort and for those who are at risk helps reduce skin degradation and pressure ulcers. Using individual butterfly springs, the system reacts to — and interacts with — the individual, promoting individual movement and tissue microcirculation, thus encouraging a restful well-being.

Protection
Rest assured in a Belletto or Völker bed. All beds have two assist rails on the head and foot ends, that are completely hidden from site, but that can be used for turning over or getting out of bed or to protect you from falling from the bed if needed.

My husband has had gastro esophageal reflux disease (known as GERD) for many years. Medications were ineffective. The only way he could get a night’s sleep, without the intense burning and accompanying pain in his chest, was to sleep on a mound of pillows supported by a wedge pillow. Unfortunately, if he turned on his side during the night — this placed his spine out-of-alignment causing unforgiving back pain. I have a damaged vertebra in my lower back that requires very firm support. The only way I got relief was to place a sheet of plywood beneath my mattress.

Then we were introduced to the Völker bed. At night my husband’s bed is put into the reverse Trendelenburg position (head raised — foot lowered) and he sleeps comfortably every night — in a prone position, on either side, or on his stomach. I sleep like a baby — with the support I need to awaken every morning free of pain.

We LOVE our Völker beds and cannot imagine what our lives would be like without them. We have had our Völker beds for 9 wonderful, restful, pain-free years!
